We are pleased to introduce our company "Sun Petrochemicals Pvt Ltd " as the one of the leading manufacturers of Acetylene Black for Zinc Carbon / Dry Cell Battery application.
We are part of a highly respected industrial group, having a thrust on R & D. The group turnover in the previous fiscal is exceeding USD 500 millons.
We commenced the production of Acetylene Black in the year 1999 at Nagothane near Mumbai( Bombay) sea port.
Our production process for Acetyelene Black is based on a process of Thermal Decomposition of Acetylene gas which is received by us from the adjoining Petrochemical complex. Acetylene gas thus obtained is in the purest form which transforms in highly pure end product Acetyelene Black having excellent electrical and thermal conductive properties. Due to long chain structure of carbon, it also exhibits excellent absorption property which is critical for application in battery manufacturing.
Our manufacturing process uses state of the art Distributed Control System (DCS) and high degree of instrumentation, which offers consistent product quality in a contineous production which runs thruough out the year.
We have a well developed In-house & well equiped quality department at our factory , which monitors consistency of raw material and finish goods to offer a product without variations in quality along with a seperate Reseach & Development team which is continuously involved in up-gradation of product characteristics to meet customer specific requirments.
Our Plant capacity is designed to meet Global Demands, supplying Acetylene Black to a larger section of the market. We are supplying Acetylene Black to all the major Zinc - Carbon battery manufacturing units in India, and are also exporting our product to major battery manufactures across the globe in countries namely Bangladesh, Srilanka, China, Israel, USA, Canada, U.K, SouthAfrica and even the Afircan continent.
We offer different different grades of Acetyelen Black, including a standard grade of 50 % compressed for Zinc Carbon Battery manufacturing. We are also offering our Acetyelen Black for conductive polymer and rubber applications and are exporting a large quantity of the same in granule form to the developed markets viz US and Europe.
We have a standard pack size of 10-kg in 3 ply kraft paper. However with specific customer requirement, we can also offer alternate packing configurations.The specialized packing of 3 ply kraft paper offers a unique strength to a standard 10-kg bag even in adverve handling conditions and helps in maintaining the moisture within specified limits in highly humid conditions.
